The Search Quality Web Team develops a suite of rich web applications and technologies used by our internal development teams.

We are looking for an experienced web developer who is part technical geek, part creative genius. We need someone who has the skills and the drive to take an idea or feature request… and run with it, turning it into a fully functional, fully integrated component of our existing suite of tools.

We combine the challenges of building large scale, performance driven systems, with the fun and exciting aspects of visual design and user experience.

What’s in your Toolbox?

Minimum Qualifications:

• Extensive experience with PHP5.
• Solid competency with CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Fluency with the LAMP stack.
• At least three years software development experience.
• A familiarity with a wide variety of software development methodologies, tools, languages and approaches.
• A disciplined approach to design/architecture, development, documentation and maintainability.
• Self-management in the code-test-debug cycle.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Academic background in computer science (BSc or MSc).
• Expertise in Perl and or MySQL.
• Prior experience with or knowledge of large scale, high volume systems.
• Experience in both small start-up and large company environments.
