MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA. Thursday, September 18, 2008 – Searchme, Inc. announced today the immediate availability of its visual search engine for mobile devices. Searchme’s engine delivers results as a browsable list of “pages” – pictures of actual web pages that users can check out before visiting them. Searchme also suggests categories to users, providing shortcuts to the best results. All mobile users can now access the engine at m.searchme.com.

How It Works

All mobile users can now go to m.searchme.com and simply enter a short query. The search engine will then display titles and pictures of web pages which match the query along with a list of categories that can be selected for further refinement. To go to a site, you simply select its picture.
