Searchme utilizes a category refinement technology, providing suggested search refinements based on categorization, making results more relevant than conventional search engines.

Basic Search

To search with Searchme, start typing your query into the search box. As you type, Searchme will suggest categories related to your query term. Simply click on the category that is most related to your query.

If you do not see a relevant category, clicking “All Results” will display unfiltered results for your query.

Unlike other search engines, Searchme does not have a “search” button. Instead, clicking a specific category or clicking “All Results” activates your search.

Search Results

The search results page displays the result of your query as it relates to your category selection. Your search category selection will be highlighted at the top of the search results page.

Refining Your Search

You may refine your current search by selecting a different category from the list. This is useful for discovering additional results related to your query.

Advanced Queries

Searchme provides a few advanced operators to improve your query.

  • Abraham AND Lincoln - Returns results containing both search terms.
  • Abraham OR Lincoln - Returns results containing either search term.
  • Four score and seven years ago - Returns results containing the entire set of words in the order they are typed.
