Search Basics

To search with Searchme, start typing your query into the search box. As you type, Searchme will suggest categories related to your query term. Simply click on the category that is most matches your intent.

If you do not see a relevant category, click “All Results” and we’ll display all the results for your query.

Refining Your Search

You may refine your current search by selecting a different category from the list. This is useful for discovering different results relating to your query.

Advanced Queries

Searchme provides a few advanced operators to improve your query.

• Phrase - “Fourscore and seven years ago” - Returns results containing this exact wording or phrase.
• OR - Abraham OR Lincoln - Returns results containing one or more of these words.
• Site - site:historyplace.com Lincoln - Search within a site or domain.
